BBA

This is an undergraduate business program (BBA) and is one of the most popular UG programs because it leads to a job and also to higher study of MBA which is considered a program that shapes your life and career.

No of years of study: 3, likely to be revised to 4 years from 2024.

Program Structure: Six semesters which may be revised to 8.

Internship: An internship is mandatory for the BBA students of Vagamon.

At the BBA level there is no specialization. Students may do value added courses in logistics, supply chair and other areas to enhance the job opportunities; but essentially BBA is intended to be a general management study that prepares for a starting career in management in sector.

Finance executive, financial analyst executive, account executive, , customer support executive, audit executive, taxation executive, starting career in banks in relationship and audit, starting audit jobs in major audit companies like EY or other major audit and accounting companies. You may also be able to take up value-added courses in logistics and supply chain with a view to focus on finance and accounting functions in these institutions.

After your BBA, you can pursue MBA in a top business school in India or abroad, specialist management programs such as logistics and supply chain post graduate diplomas, sales management diplomas, post graduate diplomas in HR, Masters Business analytics if you are strong in quantitative techniques and computers, Masters in IT management etc. Sky is the limit especially if you build strong communication and leadership competencies at Vagamon. 

This program demands disciplined, and systematic hard work which are the main reasons why a person fits this program and shines in it. The learner should have a business acumen, willingness to learn and shine in communication in English language, and ability to analyze and make decisions. S/he should be inquisitive and be willing to ask questions in all forums especially during various corporate talks.  

What applies to the MBA student at Vagamon and given under the MBA program would be applicable to BBA students also as far as the impact of residential program is concerned. There will be plenty of teaching by the MBA faculty who may also mentor you. You will be part of many initiatives such as evening presentation and midnight presentation. When you reach the final year, your class will be co-located with the MBA class rooms to ensure greater interaction. Grooming and Student Ownership Program (SOP) are the main uniqueness of BBA @ Vagamon. You will get exposure to leadership development, corporate talks, industrial visits, and psychometric assessments similar to the MBA students. You will also be required to read the newspaper, Economic Times, and give presentations based on it. You will also participate in Outbound Leadership Lab, fine dining and other grooming activities and placement opportunities for which our MBA is known. It would be a highly rigorous program and be prepared for our value “Celebrate Hard Work”.

Should complete your Class XII successfully. Demonstration of academic competency in Class XII will be highly helpful.
